Chapter 3 call of the sea12/14/2023 ![]() Libya has the shape of a right-angled triangle, conceived of as drawn on a plane surface, having as base the coast opposite us, from Aegypt and the However, the whole of the coast opposite to us, I mean that between the Nile and the Pillars, and particularly the part which was subject to the Carthaginians, is settled and prosperous but here too some parts here and there are destitute of water, as, for example, in the regions about the Syrtes, the Marmaridae, 277 and Catabathmus. Perhaps it is even smaller than Europe and in power it is much inferior, for the greater part of the interior and of its ocean-coast is desert, and it is dotted with settlements that are small, scattered, and mostly nomadic and in addition to its deserts, its being a nursery of wild beasts drives out people even from land that could be inhabited 825 and it overlaps a considerable part of the torrid zone. Now the writers who have divided the inhabited world according to continents have divided it unequally, for the threefold division indicates a division into three equal parts but Libya lacks so much of being a third part of the inhabited world that even if it were combined with Europe it would seem not to be equal to Asia. ![]() Now I have said much about this country before, 276 but I must now comment also on other matters in so far as they may be timely, adding what has not been said before. Yet again, you need to have the lower portion empty/black.1 (824) Next let me describe Libya, which is the only part left for the completion of my Geography as a whole. Head down the stairs to find the last symbol we need to interact with, which is two triangles going vertically. Interact with it to make the symbol on the lower portion so the top is grey. Head back up and across the area to the top of the stairs, where another symbol with three dots can be found. Go down the nearby stairs to find a symbol with four dots and interact with the symbol to make the symbol on the lower portion so the top is grey. Keep following the wall to the next symbol, which looks like two triangles going sideways. This one has two dots, again interact with it to make the lower portion empty/black. Turn around and go back towards the puzzle, but coming out of the tunnel turn left and look to the left where you should find another symbol. Interact with it to make sure the lower portion of the symbol is empty/black. Head back into the tunnel we came through and there'll be a symbol on the left side with one dot. You will see seven symbols and some black goo as well, if the black goo is underneath the symbol it means that it is open and if it is grey it means it is closed. Back in the open area, interact with the stone formation looking out to the ocean to open up the new puzzle. Head up the nearby mountain path and back across the bridge to the left. Head out of the ship and around to the back of the ship, on the middle table next to a hammer and crate is a note with how Harry Activated the Organ. You will have to use the three different dials to make the three rocks on the right be on same level, and have all the green bulbs lit at once. ![]() Interact with the knob on the far left to turn the machine on. Head all the way back to the ship and enter the far room that we neglected earlier, interact with the floating stones contraption for the next puzzle. Exit out of the tent and take the stairs to the left, and go left all the way up to find a mural that you can interact with. Interact with the projector screen to get the right tide level indicator. Head all the way back to the projector and move the slides until you mention that the slide is the right one (should be the lowest level tide without the diamond being empty). As you come out into the opening, head to the right, and all the way down the stairs to find an indicator of the sea levels. Here you will want to exit right and head up the mountain side, looking for a bridge on the left to cross over eventually. Reset the slides all the way to the left then exit out of the tent, and out of the cave back into the main camp area.
